Millionaire Angus Oxbow has a younger brother who is in prison for a crime he did not commit. To obtain his release, he plans to steal some of the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London and strike a bargain for his brother's release against the return of the Jewels.
He recruits a team consisting of his ice-cool secretary, a firebrand socialist, and a hard-up ex-RAF pilot. They carry out the robbery successfully, but then the skullduggery begins.
